Make Your Own DAM Breakfast with Adobe Experience Manager
What happens after "Place Order"? Usually, a fulfillment system picks up the work and the customer waits. But what if the website was the fulfillment system: and the product it delivered was a pancake?
This session is a live, end-to-end demonstration of a content-to-physical-world pipeline built entirely on Adobe's composable stack. An Edge Delivery Services storefront takes a pancake order through Adobe Commerce, triggers an orchestration layer via Make, and publishes IoT commands that instruct a PancakeBot 2.0 to print a custom pancake design and a SmarterCoffee machine to brew a fresh cup: all on stage, in real time.
The architecture is intentionally production-grade beneath the playful surface. Every layer, headless commerce, event-driven orchestration, MQTT device control, maps directly to real-world patterns AEM practitioners encounter in composable builds. The pancake is the proof that the pipeline works. The lesson is that EDS can be the glass for anything, not just web pages.
