About adaptTo()

In 2011 pro!vision GmbH started adaptTo() as a Berlin based Apache Sling & Friends Tech Meetup. Since then, many many helping hands, dedicated sponsors and an enthusiast developer community have contributed to the conference becoming what it is today: Europe's leading AEM Developer Conference.

Online Conference in 2020

Due to the worldwide "Corona" situation this year's adaptTo() will be a virtual online conference (we also made a poll on this in May 2020).

We picked an online platform that allows much more than just streaming videos: Expect a virtual conference experience that allows you to get in touch with our speakers and attendees.

  • All talk presentations live or pre-recorded with live Q&A
  • Live moderation
  • Workshops with breakout rooms
  • Panel discussions
  • Social interaction via text chat, video chat or Companion App
  • Networking sessions and group video chat rooms
  • Virtual lobby
  • Immediate access to slides and video recordings of all talks directly after the conference

A conference by developers for developers

If you're looking for a conference with promising roll-ups, brimming swag bags and glittering product presentations, adaptTo() isn't for you. adaptTo() is a highly specialized developer conference with a clear focus on technology and a clear objective: bringing together the best AEM developers and OSS enthusiasts from all over the world in one place. And giving them the opportunity to present and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether they are a backend or frontend developers, quality assurance or technical staff, AEM developer or systems architects.

adaptTo() is a conference by developers for developers. Marketing contributions are therefore just as consistently avoided as information stands and sponsored keynotes.

The technical focus is on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC), and the underlying open source software as Apache Sling, Apache Felix and Apache Jackrabbit Oak  and wcm.io.

The conference of experts

And also in the composition of the talks and speakers, adaptTo() remains true to itself as a developer conference with the highest standards. It regularly invites the best in their field. Those who speak at adaptTo() do not talk about themselves, but much rather about their work. Thus, the approximately 300 participants of the conference get unadulterated and far-reaching insights into the thinking and doing of real experts and experienced practitioners.

The conference with community flair

adaptTo() has its origins in a developer community that loves and lives the exchange of knowledge and experience. adaptTo() feels committed to this community idea, even as a full-fledged conference and therefore attaches great importance to the fact that the adaptTo() offers all participants enough space and time for exchange and networking and does not rush them from track to track.

This also includes the size of the adaptTo(). It is big enough to meet new faces and small enough to meet familiar faces again and to deepen contacts from the previous year.

The Zero-Bullshit-Conference

adaptTo() is all about technology. At the highest level. Without detours. Without frills and, above all, without loud marketing noise.

In short: adaptTo() is the technology focused developer conference for AEM practitioners, AEC experts and OSS specialists.
